Energy Department

The Energy Department of Envirometrics has undertaken and has been implementing, over the past two years (2022-2024), the development of an Energy Management System (EMS) at the power generation stations of the PPC Group (Public Power Corporation), in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001:2018.
Additionally, it has undertaken the preparation and support of the Group throughout the certification process for these stations, which was successfully completed. This successful process has significantly contributed to improving the energy efficiency of these stations, as well as the Group as a whole, while also enhancing its public image.
For the successful implementation of this complex and demanding project, Envirometrics utilised its expertise and extensive experience. In this context, comprehensive on-site inspections were carried out at multiple power generation stations, large volumes of data were collected and thoroughly analyzed, and well-documented actions and policies were proposed, leading to substantial energy savings for an organization of strategic importance such as the PPC Group.
Furthermore, Envirometrics played a pivotal role in preparing the necessary documentation for the development of the Energy Management System, providing valuable guidance throughout the certification process.

Τhe Energy Department of Envirometrics has also undertaken the provision of energy consulting services for EKO S.A., one of the largest Greek companies in the petroleum sector and a member of the leading energy group Helleniq Energy.
As part of this ongoing project, which has a three-year timeline, the Energy Department systematically monitors the company’s energy consumption, provides services in the context of energy audits at several of EKO’s facilities, and supports the implementation of the Energy Management System (EMS) in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001:2018.
Furthermore, Envirometrics is responsible for developing greenhouse gas emission reduction plans, proposing measures that significantly contribute to the improvement of EKO’s energy efficiency and enhance its environmental sustainability.
The expertise, high-level training, and extensive experience of the Envirometrics team serve as a guarantee and an essential prerequisite for the successful implementation of such a complex and demanding project.
